At InputDive ("we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our macOS application.
We believe in privacy by default. InputDive is designed to process your keystrokes locally on your Mac.
InputDive does not contain account, payment, advertising, analytics, or telemetry services. Core features do not need a network connection. If automatic update checks are enabled, the app requests the public version.json file from the InputDive website when it starts. This request does not include keystrokes, input-source details, account information, or a device identifier.
InputDive stores preferences such as the selected input source, key-sound setting, launch-at-login choice, and automatic-update-check choice locally using standard macOS configuration storage.
Input-source locking requires no Accessibility permission. Input Monitoring is requested only when you deliberately enable the optional key sound, because macOS requires that permission to observe global key-down events.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
